The number of passengers is growing at Valencia airport

Valencia airport located 119 kilometres far of Javea on the Costa Blanca, recorded a total of 665.947 passengers during the month of April, which means a growth of 18.5% over the same month of 2017.

International traffic registered 483.085 passengers, 23.2 percent more than in April of the previous year, while that national was a total of 181.085 passengers, 8% more than in the same period of 2017 and all concerned with commercial flights.

International traffic broken down by nationality, countries with more demand from travelers during the month of April were Italy, with 105.223 passengers; followed by Germany, with 72.109 passengers; United Kingdom, with 65.576; Holland, with 54.612; France, with 52.492, and Switzerland, with 25.149 passengers.

With regard to the operations, during the month of April were handled 6.486 flights, representing 17.3% more compared to the same month in 2017. Of the total movements, 5.720 were commercial flights, a 16.8% more.
